about avril's recently concert in Brazil

1. During a recent concert in Brazil, Avril Lavigne was about to cover Coldplay's "Fix You" as she sat cutely by the piano decked out in her usual punk chic style. Then, some craziness went down, and a fan happened to catch it on video. Out of nowhere, some rude-ass dude rushes on the stage and hard-core freaks her out. "What the hell" is right.
   And we have to say we were majorly impressed -- not with how Avril kept her composure with the rabid fan (even though that was awesome, too), but with her outfit! Even if glittery green boots aren't really your thing, they're glittery green boots, people. Give her some credit! And those boots got me thinking: Maybe, like Richard Simmons, all of Avril's badassery comes from her clothes?
   Well, now you can find out for yourself with her Abbey Dawn Spring 2012 collection! (Segues!) Pictured above, we see Avril in the latest her clothing line has to offer -- punk-ish boots and a prom-meets-goth minidress. In addition to what's featured here, Abbey Dawn's Spring 2012 line promises denim, skirts, dresses and even eyewear that mimics Avril's own punk rock/glam style. And dudes, brace yourself: She's launching a men's line, too.
   Was Avril able to ward off that ne'er-do-well because of her boots, or did her boots teach her how to escape him? Chicken or the egg, folks.
